Help children learn how to strategize as they race to complete squares. A player from each team races with a bar and connects it to 1 of the 4 corners already in place with the team's color facing up. Players race back and tag the next player who races down to place the next bar. Once a team completes a square, a beanbag (with the team's color facing up) is placed inside it. Each square is 1 point, and the team with the most squares at the end of the game wins!
This game is a great tool for building social and emotional skills as children talk with each other and form a plan for where to place the next bar. They also work on cognitive development as they count and add up their score. Children also have the opportunity to grow their gross motor skills as the run and build muscle.
