NutriPlay Food Sources Scooter Activity Pack

An exciting game that tells the story of the food we eat! This Pack combines education about where our food comes from and how it makes it to our stores and homes, with physical activity, scooter games, experiences, discussions, and discovery. This hands-on approach to learning, and the fun food activities, give young kids a better understanding of where food comes from with visuals and discussions to ensure learning. Children will love scooting around, harvesting, delivery, and shopping for the pretend food, a great addition for any dramatic play area in school. Up to 6 children can explore 5 Activity Cards with easy-to-follow instructions. Bring teamwork into play by dividing kids into 2 groups and labeling one group "meat eaters" and the other group "plant eaters." Children will squeal with excitement as they hop on a scooter and race for foods in their group and toss them through hoops!

Gross and fine motor skills scoot toward development as children use leg and core muscles to navigate scooters and hand and eye coordination to toss beanbags, also enriching cognitive development when classifying by groups. Social and emotional skills leap while working toward a common goal of learning new nutritional facts. Ages 3 to 10.
